He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Grainsky and Milton Grainsky; and his daughter Jamie Grainsky (Leslie Stein). He is survived by: his daughter Alana Grainsky (Cetta Puleo); his brother Joshua Grainsky (Rene Hautin); his grandson Nico Rodriquez; and his pet Theo. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
