She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Joseph Riley and Laura Riley (Hourigan). She is survived by: her caregiver Thomas Hanford; her children, Sarah Hanford (Barb Ferdman) of Pittsford and Nick Hanford of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Sophie and Will Hanford; and her brother John Riley (Sue) of Geneva, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and cousins; and a legion of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keenan Funeral Home (7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport, NY 14450). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace (601 Edgewood Ave, Rochester, NY 14618).
In lieu of flowers in Margaret's name may be made to the ALS Association-Finger Lakes Region, 135 Old Cove Rd, Suite 213, Liverpool, NY 13090 or to Neurology Dept., University of Rochester, Medical Center, 300 E.River.
