She was predeceased by: her mother Elaine DeMerchant; and her brothers, Graydon Smith and Doug Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Tracey D'Ambrosia (Rick) and Susan DeRoin; her husband Walter DeRoin; her grandchildren, David, Abby and Brody; her sisters, Eleanor Fraser (John), Sheila Stadnyk (Wayne) and Shelly Hitchcock (Scott); and her stepfather Glen DeMerchant.
