Though Joyce May may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her father James Gelo; her sister Marie (Joy); her brother-in-law Forest Lane; and her mother Martha Gelo.
She is survived by: her brother Francis "Bucky" Gelo; her daughters, Julie Lanovara (Robert Walls) and Kristine Lanovara Hoagland (Paul); her granddaughter Jennifer Sisson (Billy); her great grandchildren, Brayden and Jackson Belak; and her nieces, Lisa Ellis (Matt) and Kelly Gello.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the White Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534).
