He was predeceased by: his daughters, Margaret K. Rand and Virginia A. Caston. He is survived by: his children, David (Christine), Karen Nowak (Robert), William (Elizabeth) and Richard (Lisa); his son-in-law Adrian Rand; his grandchildren, Brian, Daniel, Matthew, Lindsey, Allison, Laura, Sara and Caroline; his sister Joan Margaret Kunz; and his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Kunz and Margaret Wegman (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
