She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Rae, Jr.; her father Judge Thurmond Clarke; her stepmother Athalie Irvine Clarke; and her son-in-law Robert. She is survived by: her sons-in-law, Susan, Robin Vavrina (Dogs), Sara Beale (Ed) and Kate Phillips (Clay); her grandchildren, Kendra Waite (Jason), Chris Vavrina (Nikki), Josh Beale (Kate), Dan Beale (Samantha), Dylan Phillips and Morgan Phillips; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Pierson, Jack and Raegan; her siblings, Joan Irvine Smith and Bob Rae; and her sister-in-law Janet Rae. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
