Donald Ross Hunsberger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, Donald Ross Hunsberger of Pittsford, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Meta; his brother John C. Hunsberger; his nephews, John C. Hunsberger, Jr. and John Hillegass; and his brother-in-law John "Jack" Hillegass.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his daughters, Susan Tain (Michael) and Laura Hunsberger (Edward Pekarek); his granddaughters, Emily and Katherine Tain; his sister Jean Hillegass; his nieces and nephews, Joan Buck (Robert), Kristen Comstock (Troy West), Jeffrey Hillegass (Lisa) and Timothy Comstock (Roxanne); and his brother-in-law Chester "Chip" Comstock (Frances).
In lieu of flowers, Don's family encourages memorial donations to be made to the Eastman School of Music Donald and Polly Hunsberger Endowed Conducting Scholarship and/or the Third Presbyterian Church Hunsberger Choral Scholars Fund.
