He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McElhinney and Margaret McElhinney; and his brothers, Jerome McElhinney and James McElhinney. He is survived by: his spouse Jeanne Gasser McElhinney; his children, Cory McElhinney, Kent McElhinney (Victoria), Ryan McElhinney and Megan Harold (Robert); his grandchildren, Alison, Camryn McElhinney, Rafael, Ramon McElhinney, Addison, Brooke and Gavin Harold; his sibling Gerry Lou Stanton; and his nieces and nephews, Michael McElhinney (Patricia), Mark McElhinney (Julie), Daniel McElhinney (Alyssa), Gerald Gasser (Patricia), Elise Carvel, Joanne Suero and William Gasser (Lisa). He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and numerous dear friends.
