She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Birdsall and Myrtle Birdsall. She is survived by: her husband John Yrus; her daughters, Judy Schneider (Richard) and Susan Simmons (Davis); and her grandsons, Richard, Robert, William Schneider, Travis Simmons and Kirby O'Berry. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Ruth's memory be made to St. Anthony's Church, Pine Plains.
