Ronald Osofsky Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Osofsky (Pine Plains, New York), who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Osofsky to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his children, Golden Retrievers, Kate and Peter; his grandchildren, Tatum and Ronan; his wife Cathy; his children, Jonathan Osofsky, Carey Alberg (Brian) and Daniel Osofsky (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Grace Alberg and Jack; his siblings, Rick Osofsky (Jean), Sid Osofsky (Cindy) and Freda Sanderson (Osofsky); and his sisters-in-law, Ann Simmons (Curtis), Natalie Guernsey (Zipp) and Joan Osofsky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

There were personal challenges, including a year in the hospital leading to a heart transplant; health challenges for his wife, Cathy and a Global Pandemic, but the one constant was the help and support of his tight-knit family, lifelong friends and long-standing Ronnybrook employees that Ronny considered family.

“To Ron's family and all the Osofsky clan, I offer my sincere condolences. Ron was a nice guy and so well liked by all who knew him. I first met him not too long after moving to Pine Plains in 1977 and was impressed by this intelligent, hardworking farmer. He had a rough go of it in his later years but he always had a smile.
