It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Thorpe (Pine Plains, New York), born in West Taghkanic, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Tomkins and Beulah Tomkins (Coon); her daughters, Carol Schmitz (Peter) and Anne Thorpe (Stephen Hirsch); her grandchildren, Tom, Stephanie, Dan, Rita, Brittney and Erica; her husband Henry Thorpe Jr.; her son David Thorpe; and her sister Betty Swartz.
