In loving memory of Gemma Maurina of Pine Plains, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who departed this world on September 22, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rizzi and Victoria Rizzi (Rauzi); and her former husband Roberto Maurina. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her daughter Linda (Bob Cordella); her grandsons, Brian Cordella, David Cordella (Anne), Robert Cordella (Jocelyn) and John Cordella (Andrea); and her great grandchildren, Emma Maurina, Shea Eoin and Connor Patrick.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Homes (7749 S Main St, Pine Plains, NY 12567). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (68 Poplar Ave, Pine Plains, NY 12567).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gemma's memory may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation or to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
