He was predeceased by: his sons, Timothy, Shawn and Kerry; his granddaughter Michelle Farruggia; his daughter-in-law Laura Heaney-Goff; his daughters, Maria T. Heaney and O'Callaghan (Bernard); his grandchildren, Jamie Heaney Lanier, Kerri Heaney Hurst, Timothy Heaney (Alexis), Sean Heaney (Taylor), Robert Farruggia (Zylona) and Shannon Mellas; his parents, William Heaney and Julia Heaney (McCaffrey); his wife Maria Mazzocchi; and his siblings, Mary, William, James, Joseph, Bernadette, Julia, John and Jerome. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
