She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Giordano and Maria Giordano (Biuso); her husband Giuseppe Mirto; and her brothers, Biaggio, Salvatore, Pino and Giovanni.
She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Mirto, Rosalia Cort (Paul), Maria Wright (Courtland) and Vincenza Mirto; her grandchildren, Joseph (Jenna), Mackenzie (Jessica), John (Cassandra), Ariana, Marcella, Mallory and Kaylie; her great grandchildren, Neil, Luca and Cameran; and her siblings, Mimma, Maria, Nunzio and Ron. She is also survived by nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children; cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nina's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
