Viola Louise Hojnacki Obituary
We bid farewell to Viola Louise Hojnacki of Pine Island, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2025 at the age of 98. Viola Louise touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bronislaw Gayewski and Regina Sendlak Gayewski; and her siblings, Barney, John Gayewski, Apolonia Gayewski, Jean Lupinski, Mary Schreibeis, Charlotte Tomaszewski, Genevieve Tomaszewski, Frances Shaw, Stella Wesolowski and Josephine Wesolowski.
She is survived by: her son Stanley Walter Hojnacki of Monroe, NC; and her sister Regina Bastek of Westtown. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the T. S. Purta Funeral Home (690 County Rd 1, Pine Island, NY 10969). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stanislaus Church (17 Pulaski Hwy, Pine Island, NY 10969). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery (17 Pulaski Hwy, Pine Island, NY 10969).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905. or to St. Stanislaus Church c/o St. Joseph Church, 14 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
