It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stanley Gurda of Pine Island, New York, who passed away, on October 6, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gurda and Anna Gurda (Wolak); and his siblings, John, George, Michael, Joseph, Frank, Peter, William, Sophie, Julia, Mary and Josie.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Scott; his children, Steve (Patty) of Wawayanda, NY and Sue (Patrick) of Derwood, MD; and his nephews, Ralph, Edward, George and Floyd. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions and guidelines set forth from the state face coverings are required and the number of visitors allowed in the funeral home and the church is limited so we ask that those that may have to wait to enter please follow social distancing guidelines.
