We bid farewell to Genevieve C Oldfield (Pine Island, New York), born in Middletown, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 1, 2024 at the age of 81. Genevieve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Kukelka Jashembowski and Peter Jashembowski; her friend Ginger Monahan; her brother John; and her son Petey.
She is survived by: her former husband Lawrence "Butch" Oldfield; her sister Helen Hevener of Middletown, NY; her godchildren, Mark Dombal, Frank Jashembowski, Sherri Neiger and Christopher Bailey; her grandchildren, Kate Ingber (Joshua), Jenna Taurisani (Nicholas), Justin Oldfield, Nico Oldfield and Daniel "DJ" Oldfield; her great grandchildren, Emilia Rose Ingber and Luke Thomas Ingber; and her friends, Ro McNamee, Alice Deserto and Sharon Kirchner. She is also survived by two sons and one daughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which was Jeanne's charity of choice.
