He is survived by: his wife Claudia Hopkins; his children, David Hopkins (Amy), Ted Hobczuk (Julie), John Hopkins (Julie) and Kelly Krauss (Sue); and his siblings, Robert Hopkins (Pat) and Marybeth Whitford (Terry). He is also survived by four grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
