He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph S. De Socio, Sr. and Harriet "Catherine" De Socio (Lagonegro); his brother Anthony De Socio; and his former wife Cornelia Schiefen (Supple). He is survived by: his wife Mary E. De Socio (Crain); his children, Christopher De Socio (Kathleen) of Genoa, NV and Marcella Backer (Dennis) of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Kelly and Adam Backer (Gabrielle); his great grandchild Jack Backer; his stepsons, William Ellis of Elmira, NY and Richard Ellis (Tera) of Elmira, NY; and his stepgrandchildren, Dustin Ellis, Ashley Ellis, Casey Ellis, Liam Ellis, Lauren Ellis, Kayla Ellis, Jeff Ellis and Cassie Ellis. He is also survived by five step-great grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
