It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philena Mary Shearer of Pine City, New York, born in Palmyra, New York, who passed away on October 30, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Matteson and Elizabeth Matteson (Leno); her husband Robert Shearer; and her children, Ronald Shearer, Richard Shearer, Phyllis Westlake and Dulice Shearer.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Wright (Charles) of Crofton, KY, Linda Shearer-Wheeler of Elmira and Lester Shearer (Patti) of Elmira; and her daughter-in-law Frances Shearer of Horseheads. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
