It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter J. Monitello (Pine City, New York), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on June 2, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Josephine Monitello and Nicholas Monitello; and his sister-in-law Rita Monitello. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Monitello (Farmer); his children, Mary Jo Owen of Elmira and Mark P. Monitello (Holly) of Naperville; his grandson Curtis Owen of Athens, PA.; his brothers-in-law, Judy Elvin (Warren), Charles Farmer, Joan Trampenau, Thomas Farmer (Regina), Jean Becker (Walter), Patricia Infantine (James), Carol Farmer, Karen Robbins and Susan Mason (Paul); his nephews, Bob Monitello of Ohio and Nick Monitello of Ohio; and also, Scott Supa of Elmira and Serena Lattimer of Athens, PA..

In lieu of flowers Pete requested donations to Holy Family School, 1010 Davis St., Elmira, NY 14901.
