He was predeceased by: his wife LaValle Dickinson Marks; his stepson James Robert Jackson; his parents, Edward Charles Joseph Marks and Carolyn Marks (Marean); and his siblings, Edward J Marks Jr., John Marks of Elmira, Margaret Mary Connell of Geneva and Eugenia Claire Kelly (Jeannie Marks-Patterson).
He is survived by: his significant other Nancy Meade; his sister Elizabeth Jane Hart of Geneva; his former husbands, Lawrence and Michael; his stepchildren, Guy Haskins (Mimi), Lee Jackson (Kathleen) and Anne Marie Jackson; and his grandchildren, Jill Renay Lochren (Howard), Adam Robert Tiffany (Robin), Paul Andrew Haskins (Pamela), Jeffery Alan Haskins, Ian Lawrence Haskins and Kasey Lee Speciale (Matthew). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
