We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2024, at the age of 98, Genevieve McWhorter of Pine City, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hewitt and Lulabelle Hewitt (McLane); her husband Vernet "Mac" McWhorter; her son Mitchel McWhorter; her grandson Shawn McWhorter; and her siblings, Kenneth Hewitt, Myrtle Dunkleburger, Grace Balmer and Beverly DeWitt.
She is survived by: her son Randall L. McWhorter; her grandchildren, Miranda Rice (Ryan) and Randall B. McWhorter; her great grandchildren, Alissa Rice, Jordan Rice, Christopher Rice, Easton Rice, Cullen McWhorter, Liam McWhorter, Caleb McWhorter, Lukas McWhorter and Sheldon McWhorter; her granddaughter-in-law Wendy McWhorter; and also Linda McWhorter.
