He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlyle J., Sr. and Isabelle Drake (Grover); his wife Rae Catherine Drake; his brothers, Fred and Richard Drake; his children, Lindy A. and Paul DiPietro of Elmira; his grandchildren, Andrew DiPietro, Kara Collins (Michael), David and Betsy Drake of Pine City; his great grandchildren, Jolene Sherman (Willie), Mathew Andrews (Brandy), Carrie, Jeffrey Roberts of Charlton, NY and Hailey Collins; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Colin and Carter Sherman; his sister Jeanne; his brothers-in-law, George Osborne of Ocala, FL, Patrick Leyden of Victor, NY and Michael Leyden of Charleston, IL; and also, Maggie and Ben Roberts. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
