He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Demetriou and Athena Persinos Demetriou; his siblings, Andrew Demetriou, Melanie Kassalias and Helen Stafford; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Hughes, Leo Kassalias and Wendell Stafford.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Demetriou (Colleen Coburn), Anthony Demetriou (Allison), Brittany Demetriou and Deanna Demetriou; his grandchildren, Andrew Demetriou and Athena Demetriou; and his siblings, Ann Hughes, Chris Mendler (Richard) and Jimmy (Barbara).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. (1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY 12566).
