She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Heil and Theodore Heil; her husband David Bruinix; and her siblings, Ralph Heil and Helen Kiehlmeir.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Gulotta (Michael), Michael Bruinix (Trisha), Linda McKnight and Mark Bruinix (Jacquie). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
