He is survived by: his sons, Russ Salavec (Lawree) and Chris Salavec (Della); his grandchildren, R. J. Salavec (Sydney), Maddison Salavec, Zach Deutsch and Emma Deutsch; his great grandchildren, Russell and Olivia Salavec; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Salavec and Rose Salavec. He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
