She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Eppert and Elizabeth Eppert; her husband Fritz Apelles; her daughter Vera Bardin; and her siblings, Werner Eppert and Anita Ryback.
She is survived by: her children, Christa Eppert of Georgia, Hans Apelles of Pine Bush, Traute Watson (Roy) of Dolgeville, Christel Bathrick of Webster and Ralph Apelles (Wendy) of Pine Bush; and her son-in-law Richard Bardin of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
