He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakob Bayer and Margaretha Kreter Bayer; his wife Cecilia "Toni" Bayer; and his brothers, Henrich Bayer and Philip Bayer.
He is survived by: his children, William (Barbara Bayer), Margaret (Russ Wood), Steven (Dawn Bayer), Shawn (Jennifer Bayer) and Shannon Bayer (John Amato); his grandchildren, Russell, Tyler Wood, Megan, William Bayer, Lukas Amato, Joseph and Michael Anello; his great grandchildren, Cameron and Cayden Doria; his sisters-in-law, Kathryn Bayer and Traudy Bayer; and his former wife Sydney Bayer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, friends and his.
