He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Delaney; his children, Gene Knudsen (Mary Jean) and Ginger Madera (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brian Knudsen (Caroline), Kevin Knudsen (Alyssa), Gregory Knudsen, Jonathan Madera, Jenna Madera, Deanna Nahs (Aaron) and Tony DeLaura; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Lily Knudsen and Riley Nahs.
