We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2023, Leah H. Gilmore of Piffard, New York, born in Java Center, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Esther Paulsen and Benjamin Hakes; and her parents, Benjamin A. Hakes and Elva Gillette Hakes. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many feline friends.
