He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Pepper Smalling; his sons, David Smalling (Karen Harp) of Buffalo, Stephen Smalling (Michelle Bacchette) of Leicester and Peter Smalling (Julie) of Piffard; his grandchildren, Carson Smalling (Hannah), Brenden Smalling (Rachel), Zachary Smalling (Lauren), Ellisa and Jered Smalling; his great grandchildren, Micah and Charlotte Smalling; his sisters, Carol Jones (Henry) and Jan Delcastio (Jeff); and his brother-in-law Thomas Fox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
