He is survived by: his father Rex Thomas Burns, Sr. (Grace) of Pierrepont; his wife Grace Cross; his mother Helen "Peggy" Perry Sharlow (Perry) of Russell; his children, Alyssa Parker, Kensie Baxter, Logan Goolden, Breanna Kelly and Jesse Wagster; his stepchildren, Misty and Shawn Gilson; his sister April Kemp (Edward); and his stepsiblings, Carrie Matthews (Dan), Rachel Phillips (Jake), Tony Sharlow (Lisa), Wayne Sharlow, Jr. (Nancy), Keith Sharlow and Jason Sharlow (Rebecca). He is also survived by one granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
