He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Steen; his siblings, Thomas Steen and Cora Besaw; and also Vernon Steen. He is survived by: his parent Agnes Steen (Martin); and his siblings, Francis Steen of Clyde, NY and Ruby Rexford of Canton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
