He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford L. Streit and Ruth Mary Streit (Pitts); and his sisters, Mary LaDuke and Helen Joan Streit. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Latimer; and his sons, Craig M. Streit (Cyndi Rivet) of Pierrepont, Clifford L. "Chip", Jr. Streit (Patricia Smith) of Canton, Clay S. Streit (Anna Powers) of Pierrepont and Christopher A. Streit.
