She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eddie Lee Rand and Thelma Slaughter Rand; her husband Reverend Lee Edward Burns, Sr.; her children, Emily Ann Thornton (John), Lisa Jeannie Walker (Arthur), Lori Latrice Martin and Lee Edward Burns, Jr. (Mahima); her great grandchildren, Rachel Denise Nichols and John Edward Thornton (Kristen); her siblings, Helen McNair, Harold Rand, Eddie Rand, Doris Graham, Leola Graham (BT), Vivian Grantham, Elma Warren, Barbara Johnson (Lewis), Willie Rand and Sydney Rand; her siblings-in-law, Larry Mathews and Daisy Matthews; and her godsons, Timothy Roscoe and Terence Osborne. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
