Ruth Ann Hughes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Hughes of Phoenix, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlo Green and Daisy Green (Kimball); and her siblings, Dorothy Walts, Orlo Green, Jr. and Frederick "Jim" Green.
She is survived by: her former husband Lawrence Hughes (Josie Arnold) of Liverpool, NY; her children, Lawrence Hughes (Mary) of Newark, NY and Sherry Murtagh (Bill) of Phoenix, NY; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Green of Palermo, NY and Mary Green. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
