Rita A. Cone Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A. Cone of Phoenix, New York, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Chessar and Katherine Derwald (Walsh); her spouse Almon W. Cone; and her daughter Donna Brister. She is survived by: her children, Lawrance Cone of Arizona, Elaine Cone of Arizona, Cheryl Venditte (Charles) of Stafford and Debora Miller of Alexander; and her brothers, Richard Derwald (Maureen) of Buffalo and Christopher Walsh (Elizabeth) of Buffalo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rita's name to Alexander Dollars for Scholars, c/o Alexander High School, 3314 Buffalo Street, Alexander, New York 14005 Arrangements were entrusted to the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, Batavia Services for Rita Cone.
