She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine M. McCauley (Schadt) and Leon Willard McCauley; her husband William W. Berard, Jr.; her daughter Suzanne Patricia Berard-Smith; and her grandson Justin Michael Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle M. Allen (Larry) of Phoenix, Denise A. Berard of Charlotte, NC and Margaret "Peggy" Lindner (Peter) of Carlsbad, CA; and her grandchildren, Keith Allen, Katie LaClair, George Betts, Gregorgy Betts, Cara Buchanan, Megan Lindstrom, Peter Lindner, Nicholas Lindner and Regan M. Smith, II. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
