With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merton Richard Shaw of Phoenix, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Shaw, (Frank) and Thomas Merton Shaw, Jr.; his siblings, Thomas Shaw, III, Frederick Shaw, Claude Shaw, Nancy Wood and Linda Zayon; and his granddaughter Whitney Kranz.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie J. Shaw (Morgan); his children, Shelly Kranz (Terry) and Merton R. Shaw, II; his stepchildren, Karen Harris-Allen (Jake), Jennifer McGrew (Edward) and Scott Harris; his grandchildren, Kari Thomas (Steven), Ty Kranz (Stephanie), Jadyn Shaw, Zander Harris, Evelyn Harris, Jasmine Allen and Hailey McGrew; his great grandchildren, Whitlee, Weston Thomas and Tucker Clark; and his siblings, Earl Shaw, Judy Bouchard (Jason), Kathy Torrence (Don) and Frances Fox. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friends.
