He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Charles and Ruth Charles; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Cushman (Steven), Mary Helander, Jennifer Fuschino (Vincenzo) and Elizabeth Charles; his brothers, Jack Charles (Mary Lou) and Joel Charles (Carol); his grandchildren, Cassidy, Jacob, Maria and Jessica; and his daughters, Peg Scheffler (Dick) and Sue Charles.
