She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina Belle (Horr) and Alexander Gale Schroeppel; her husband Allen J. "Mike" Sweeney; her former husbands, Rufus Dobson and Edward A. Mills, Sr.; her son Theodore Waldron; and her sisters, Christine Gale Schroeppel, Barbara Ann Gladd, Shirley Stacy, Mary Jane Bzdula and Nan Schroeppel.

She is survived by: her children, Edward Mary Lou, Connie Lee Soppe (Rodger) of Hornbeak, TN, Roger Mills of Fulton, NY, Jim Mills and Doug Chapman; and her sisters, Myrta M. (Schroeppel) and Hayes (Richard H. Sotherden) of Phoenix, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
