She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Max O. Haas and Louise Haas (Emmert); her husband Martin "Fred" Schlecht; her sister Eleanore Haas Gorman; her great grandchild John Patrick Striplin-Griffith; her children, Elizabeth "Betty" Anne Ristau (David) of Clayton, NY, Martin Frederick Schlecht (Martha) of Lexington, MA. and Dorothy Jean Griffith (Rene Hemond) of Lancaster, MA.; her sister Gerda Haas Balthasar (Robert) of Lebanon, PA; her grandchildren, Caroline Dawe Lussier, John Daniel Griffith, Jessica Mary Cannata, Sarah Louise Griffith, Lisa Anne Schlecht and Derek Martin Schlecht; and her great grandchildren, Evan Michael McGraw, Javier Martin Aguilar Schlecht and Oona Louise Striplin-Griffith. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
