We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2023, at the age of 91, Ruth Houska of Phoenicia, New York, born in Passaic, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bromm and Julia Hallock Bromm; her husband Charles; and her son Stephen. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Houska (Kim) of Phoenicia and Julie Houska of Bearsville; her granddaughter Helen Hoffman; and her great grandchildren, JD Schiskey, Roewyn, Quillan and Faye Hoffman.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Phoenicia Thrift Shoppe or the Phoenicia Playhouse.
