He was predeceased by: his parents, Flavius Dibbell and Amy Thorpe Dibbell; his wife Elsie Young Dibbell; and his sister Alice Fay. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Dibbell (Judith), Shokan, Paul Dibbell (Debbie) of Elka Park, Jane Booth (Ken) of Shandaken and Lisa Dibbell (Dave) of Elka Park; and his grandchildren, Talia, Brendan, Christopher and Scott.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Mountainside Care Sunshine Fund, or the Phoenicia American Legion Post.
