He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son Dale Strausser of Westkill; his sister Gloria Blum; and his stepchildren, Max Pushman (Cheryl), Michael Pushman, Billy Pushman (Sharon), Linda Bloodgood and Mary Gail Sutton (Stanley).
