He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Degnen and Elizabeth Degnen (Owens); his children, John Degnen Jr. (Donna), Dennis Degnen (Lucy), Gregory Degnen (Jodi), Maureen Hiserodt (Wayne) and Ann Albright (Cliff); his wife Irene Reaves; and his brother Edward Degnen (Irma). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
