He was predeceased by: his wife Marietta Geisser. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Burzinski (Staus) and Meg Geisser; and his granddaughters, Mary Burzinski and Rachel Burzinski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held for him at a time that is better for all those that wish to pay their respects.
