It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Franklin (Philadelphia, New York), born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Franklin Dandy and William H. Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Diane Matthews-Franklin; his siblings, Bernadette Dandy, Lisa Carter, Eva Franklin, Sabron Dandy and Gregory Franklin; his sons, Brian Franklin and Calvin Garnet; his stepchildren, Regina and Gerald Matthews; and his grandchildren, Garrick Franklin, Briana Garnet, Angie Garnet, Cherish Garnet and Calvin Garnet, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
