Patricia A. Galens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia A. Galens of Phelps, New York, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Merkel and Barbara Boyke Merkel. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Galens of Phelps; her children, Douglas Galens of Phelps, Jennifer Hinton (Gary) of Gilbert, SC and Carrie Galens (Steve Hook) of Rochester; her grandchildren, Alexander, Mason, Bryan and Ronan; and her sisters, Joan Leukhardt of Illinois, Kay Schmidt of Iowa and Lynn Wilson (Jim) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Cheney Funeral Home (70 Main St, Phelps, NY 14532).
It is requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice 756 Pre-Emption Road Geneva NY 14456.
